Career Opportunities in Workplace Wellbeing - Work Well Live Webinar
What's going on in the world of workplace wellbeing in Ireland? What does the employment landscape look like? Where are the opportunities?
On this Work Well Live webinar we were joined by leaders in the workplace wellbeing space in Ireland to hear about their own career journeys, what they look for in a candidate and where they see future opportunities.
You’ll find the full recording below as well as speaker profiles for our guests.
Speaker #1 - Sharon Daly, Programme Manager Health & Wellbeing at Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail
Sharon joined Iarnrod Éireann in 2020 as Health & Wellbeing Programme Manager. Over the last four years Sharon has led the Health & Wellbeing programme focusing on engaging staff across the organisation and ensuring that activity is led by staff needs and a core value of the organisation is supported, ‘Valuing Our People’. Recruiting a champion network and implementing programmes including Family Carers, Ignition Go, Smoking Cessation and annual staff health checks are some of the highlights. Other areas Sharon is passionate to bring forward are menopause, positive mental health and ensuring all staff know how to perform CPR and use an AED in case of emergency. In 2023 the programme was acknowledged by the CIPD HR Awards as the winner of the Embedding a Culture of Health & Wellbeing (large employer) and in 2024 Irish Rail was awarded with IBEC’s Keep Well Mark accreditation.
Speaker #2 - Tomas Quinn, Head of Wellbeing Solutions, Education and Research @ TikTok
Tomas is a workplace wellbeing professional, lecturer and researcher. Tomas has worked for some of the biggest names in social media. Before entering into organisational well-being, his work within Irish & International companies focused on learning and talent management.
